Eligibility Criteria

Paper-I (Secondary) 

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed : Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a subject that is related to the teaching position they are applying for. They must have achieved at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s degree and should have successfully passed the B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) examination Recognized University. OR
• Master’s Degree in a Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed: Another path to eligibility is holding a Master’s degree in a subject related to the teaching position. In addition to the Master’s degree, candidates should have cleared the B.Ed examination. OR
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with a Minimum of 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed: Candidates with either a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree can be considered if they have secured a minimum of 45% marks in their respective degrees, as per the guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Alongside this, they need to have passed the B.Ed examination Recognized University.
• STET Paper I Exam Qualify. OR
• 4-Year Course BA BEd / BSc BEd: Eligibility also extends to candidates who have successfully completed a specialized 4-year integrated program, such as BA BEd (Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Education) or BSc BEd (Bachelor of Science + Bachelor of Education)Recognized University.
• STET Paper II Exam Qualify.

Paper-II (Secondary) 

•  Master’s Degree (50% Marks) + Teaching Qualification:
  • Hold a Master’s degree in a subject related to teaching.
  • Achieve at least 50% marks in your Master’s degree.
  • Pass the B.Ed exam or complete a 4-year integrated BA BEd / BSc BEd program. OR

• Master’s Degree (Minimum 45% Marks) + B.Ed (As per NCTE Norms):

  • Possess a Master’s degree.
  • Minimum of 45% marks in your Master’s degree as per NCTE norms.
  • Successfully pass the B.Ed exam. OR

• Master’s Degree (55% Marks) + 3-Year B.Ed MEd Course:

  • Have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Complete a 3-year B.Ed MEd (Bachelor of Education + Master of Education) course
